Impulse RU700 Upright Bike

At the heart of the Impulse RU700 Upright Bike is a robust 450W commercial-grade brake system, built to handle constant daily use in busy fitness facilities. This powerful resistance system delivers smooth, consistent load changes across a wide range of intensities, making it suitable for everything from warm-ups and steady-state cardio to high-intensity interval training. Designed for durability and performance, the RU700 easily supports users up to 160kg, ensuring long-term reliability in gyms, studios, hotels and corporate fitness spaces.

The RU700 features an optimised Q-factor and KOPS (Knee Over Pedal Spindle) alignment to promote efficient biomechanics with every pedal stroke. By reducing lateral stress on the knees and hips, this design helps minimise joint strain while improving power transfer. This makes the bike particularly appealing for members focused on endurance training, rehabilitation, or low-impact cardio, while also enhancing comfort for longer training sessions.

Extra-wide, dual-sided pedals with easy-adjust straps provide a stable and secure platform for users of all foot sizes. This design improves confidence and control during workouts, allowing members to focus on effort rather than foot placement. In a commercial gym environment where multiple users cycle through equipment each day, this added comfort and adaptability significantly enhances the overall training experience.

Ergonomic handlebars are fitted with fast-track resistance controls, allowing users to increase or decrease intensity with a simple press of the +/- buttons. This fingertip control keeps workouts uninterrupted and encourages users to adjust resistance more frequently, supporting more effective training sessions. Console lights remain illuminated for up to 120 seconds after pedalling stops, improving usability and visibility between intervals.

The Impulse RU700 Upright Bike is engineered with serviceability in mind. Electronics are easily accessed by opening the top cover, and the shroud can be removed without taking off the crank, saving valuable time during servicing. A two-step powder coating process with anti-rust under-paint provides added protection against wear and corrosion, helping the bike maintain its appearance and performance in demanding commercial environments.
